Informal way to define derivative
This is an informal way to define derivative of an identity function. We know that an identity function is defined as y = f(x)=x When we will take its first derivative then their result will be y'=f'(x)=1. if will take its second derivative then it will be equal to zero.
Similarly, the following figure represents first and second derivatives of an identity function. This figure helps us to understand the concept of derivatives and it is an informal concept of derivative but not formal.
